Synopsis[]

Donkey from the Shrek franchise is in town filming a commercial and all the animals in the enclosure come out to see him. Career Day is coming up and Hunter does not want his father to come to his school; however, he comes to his school and says he knows Donkey personally in order to make himself sound cool. Larry meets Donkey and asks him to visit Hunter's school, but his manager declines. Larry tries to reason with Donkey, but he still refuses. So Larry, Sarmoti, and Snack kidnap Donkey's stunt double Jermece, mistaking him for Donkey. Passing him off as the real Donkey, Larry takes Donkey's stunt double to the school, which turns out to be a disaster once the children find out. Eventually, Donkey makes an appearance, saving the day and Larry and Hunter's reputation. Later, Donkey has Jermece do his dangerous stunts, not caring about Jermece's safety.

Meanwhile, Siegfried and Roy file a complaint with a bed and breakfast hat has replaced their favorite Applebees. They order the owner Grandma Wilson to make commercial modifications to her business, but she refuses. They stage a protest against the Bed and Breakfast, which leads to Siegfried having sex with Grandma Wilson in order for her to make the commercial changes to her hotel. They take it over and turn it into a casino, "saving" Las Vegas.

Trivia[]

  • In the episode, Donkey claims that Shrek the Third is coming out in 2006, but it was released the year after that. The reason for this is unknown, though production could have been delayed.
  • Donkey is the first DreamWorks character from a film to appear in a television series; the next ones were the Penguins, Julien, Maurice, Mort, and the chimps from the Madagascar franchise.
  • Mark Moseley, who voices Jermece, also voices Donkey in most of the Shrek video games.
